The cashmere dehairing line has been designed for a complete separation of the thin and finest fibres (14-15 micron) from the coarse hair of the outer coat, which cannot be used in the following carding and spinning processes.

Therefore, this technology is designed both for dehaired cashmere fibres sellers and cashmere yarns and fabrics/sweaters producers.

The main advantages are:

  1. perfect elimination of coarse hair. percentage of residual coarse hair after treatment is not higher than 0.1-0.2%, as per international quality standards.
  2. high yield – up to 98% of the fine fibre content.
  3. no damage to or shortening of fibres.
  4. considerable raw material purchasing cost cutting for cashmere products manufacturers.
  5. complete scurf and any other impurities elimination from fibres.

Pre-dehairing

The pre-dehairing machine is designed to prepare the cashmere fibres for the final dehairing process, by combining a delicate fibre opening action and a preliminary elimination of the coarse fibres. In this way, both the quality and productivity of the dehairing process improve considerably.

PRODUCTIVITY: up to 25 kg/h depending on the type of fibre and coarse hair content.

Final Dehairing

The separation of coarse hair takes place through a delicate mechanical action designed for not damaging and shortening the fibres, hence avoiding to decrease the quality of processed material.

PRODUCTIVITY: up to 10 kg/h depending on the type of fibre and coarse hair content.

Centralised dust and processing waste collection system

The collection of rejected fibres and impurities is carried out at different process stages so as to allow the operator selecting the waste material to be eventually reprocessed to increase line output.

Cashmere dehairing line being installed in the premises of a Mongolian cashmere fibre trading company. The line processes up to 300 tons of raw cashmere per year, and supplies both Chinese and European markets. The high yield of the line, along with the quality of the process, allow the sale of cashmere fibres to manufacturers of top quality knitwear, especially on the Italian market, with the achievement of significant profits.

CASHMERE WOOLLEN SPINNING LINE - CHINA

Cashmere dehairing line being installed in the premises of a top quality woollen yarn manufacturer. The line processes up to 180 tons of raw cashmere per year, both of Chinese and Mongolian provenance, to be used in the following internal production stages. The quality of the dehairing process allows for a significant increase in production capacity during the following spinning stage and guarantees the production of extra-fine yarns made of pure cashmere or cashmere blended with silk on final yarn counts up to Nm 60 by woollen system.
