Machine designed and manufactured for temporary storage of the material being processed, should material be subjected to operations while stopped, without stopping the production cycle. Being this machine installed in line with a cross-cutter and a winder, it allows material cross-cutting, roll doffing as well as roll-core replacement since it performs material retention for the time necessary to complete these operations. Line production is not discontinued and the operating and quality parameters are not affected.

Material store mobile trolley

The mobile trolley is used for material storage. The trolley upward and downward displacements are perfectly synchronized with the rest of the line to prevent unwanted material tension.

Steering Unit

The steering unit prevents material misalignment during storage.

Compensation Unit

The pilot compensation unit keeps material tension constant during the phase of storage to prevent unwanted deformations.

The incoming material (A) is kept under constant tension by the compensation unit (01) when the trolley (02) goes up during material storage or down during material release. At machine output side (B), the material is kept centred by the steering unit (03).
