This machine removes vegetable impurities from wool fibres, as well as skin pieces when tanning wool is processed. The material can be either manually fed to the machine or automatically by means of a bale opener that delivers the fibres directly on the feed conveyor belt of the machine. During the cleaning phase, fibres are firstly opened and then mechanically separated from impurities and skin pieces by means of specifically designed devices, to prevent the shortening or break of the fibres being processed. The impurities being separated from the fibres are automatically conveyed to a collection and dust filtering system provided with special cotton sleeves.

  • Working width up to 2000 mm (other dimensions available upon request)
  • Production capacity higher than 500 kg/h, depending on the fibre type and the quantity of impurities being contained

Available versions:

  • Model SLP-1 with single cylinder
  • Model SLP-2 with double cylinder

Process main feature: NO BREAKS OR SHORTENING of the fibres being processed

The big impurities are separated from the fibres by means of a grid and discharged by a waste collection conveyor.

Dust and vegetable impurity suction system covering multiple machine areas.
