From 14 to 17 April we will take part to ITM 2018 exhibition in Istanbul (Turkey). More than 1000 textile technology producer companies are presenting their latest models in operation. ITM, the largest exhibition in Turkey and in the region, is among the most important exhibitions in the World and a great opportunity for Cormatex to further develop its penetration in the country and the whole Middle East area.
As a pioneer in the field of complete production lines for nonwovens based on staple fibres and recycled materials, Cormatex will present its latest developments in airlaying technology and a variety of recycled products that can be manufactured with its systems.
Cormatex’s portfolio includes: opening and blending systems for virgin fibres, post-industrial and post-consumer waste materials; carding and crosslapping technology; an airlaying system (Lap Formair V) that imparts a perfectly vertical fibre orientation in the final product in a wide range areal weights up to 10,000 gsm that demonstrates good resiliency and thermal and acoustic insulation properties; an airlaying system (Lap Formair H) that creates a perfectly horizontal fibres orientation in the final product providing high mechanical properties even at light weights (100 gsm) and capable of processing short fibres as well as powder resin; longitudinal and cross cutting machines (including a high-speed cross-cutter with a flying blade); edge trim recycling machines of various configurations and automatic winders.
In addition to technologies for Nonwovens, Cormatex has a very long tradition in manufacturing complete Woollen Spinning lines, including Opening and Blending machines, Carding sets of various configurations and Mule Spinning frames, serving wool and cashmere yarn manufacturers all over the world. Among our most innovative technologies for wool and cashmere processing there are the Wool Deburring machine, a unique mechanical process to clean wool fiber from vegetable impurities and the Dehairing machine to separate fine fibers from coarse ones when processing cashmere, alpaca, llama, buffalo and many other.
You can see videos showing the two technologies:

Samples of fibers processed through the above technologies and variety of recycled nonwoven materials produced with our Airlay systems will be shown at our booth 409D Hall 4.
