Airlay production line for thermobonded nonwovens for apparel and mattress applications. A 3.2 m wide Cormatex Horizontal Airlay “lap formair H” has been integrated into an existing carding and cross lapping line to widen the range of materials to be processed. This installation proves the extreme versatility of our machine design, capable of adapting to any line configuration. This line produces innovative materials for thermal insulation for jackets and duvets with a special type of Polyester fiber that cannot be processed with conventional carding lines. The main product weight ranges from 80 to 150 gsm but heavier materials can also be produced.
